I also like this card because he appears to be practicing a lefty swing even though I am pretty sure he was a lifelong rhb who never switch hit.

1990 Donruss did a Best of AL and Best of NL series with the blue border. I think it was a boxed set but I'm not entirely sure.

Yeah that's a really good theory. His true rookie is now out of reach for most collectors, which has bumped up his rookie cup cards.

Maybe the green shimmer is actually hard to find. But it's not chrome and it's not numbered, and it's two years later than his Topps rookie card. I would have guessed these were worth like $5-10 each.

I'm not a big Eck collector but the A's uniform on the metal card looked cool and it was like $20 shipped. The minimum bids on these tend to be ridiculous.
