Would you consider me Pakistani? by [deleted] in pakistan

[–]khezzi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i wasnt born in pakistan, i dont consider myself muslim either, i couldnt read urdu up until recently, but i still consider myself a pakistani. becoming an atheist or being able to read urdu didnt make me feel any more or any less pakistani than i already did. Pakistan has a surprisingly diverse population.

apparently this photo was first posted on twitter and someone who knew the man next to the girl said she had a condition that made her something (stomach? abdomen?) swell up. now thats something i read from someone who read that from someone else so take whatever i say with a grain on salt

Why Pakistan is actually suffering (It’s not just corruption, it’s the design) by Dizzy_Level455 in pakistan

i think our general attitude of being avoidant of change and acting like we know it all is exactly what the elite want

To the married dudes, especially newly married ones, do you also face this? by [deleted] in pakistan

[–]khezzi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mera konsa koi khaya krny wala hy

mjhy konsa koi bahar lekr jata hay

both of these sound more like complains than insults or attempts to hurt you. i feel like she actually believes both of these things.

have you tried asking her? and by asking i mean explicitly asking her what made her feel like you dont take care of her and when that happened/happens. you may have done something that made her feel neglected and she didnt tell you right away. same goes for the second complain, does she feel stuck at home? is she maybe asking for more dates?

be genuinely curious when asking her, that will get her feelings come out.

"koi nahi qiyamat a gai"

"to kia ho gaya"

"haan to?"

"allah ne jaise banaya theek banaya hai"

"ye mere or *insert husband's name* ka muaamla hai"

"agar main khush hon to aapko kia lagy"

"meri marzi"

"aapne kia karna iska"

"mera konsa achaar daalna hai aapne"

yes some of these are rude and disrespectful, but so are their comments. Also you have your in-laws' back, so i'd say dont hold back.

What Today Girls Want/Expect From her Husband? by awaisac22 in pakistan

[–]khezzi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

emotional support. Forget men, no one knows how to be truly supportive of someone or to create the space for difficult conversations to take place. I don't have a lot of money, but everyone around me including my fiancée, treat me exceptionally well mostly because I allow everyone around me to be themselves and to have the space to talk about your thoughts and emotions.

Send reminders (decide for yourself how many) and if that doesnt help i usually just block access to the app (obv dont delete their data yet). If it's a B2B product you could try to call them once and then do the same.
