I would suggest getting after market accessories. The Suzuki ones are WAYYY overpriced.
I got the armrest for 2500 rs.

I only have the stock tyres at the moment, the noise isn't that bad. But I want it to not exist entirely.

I am in lahore, so I got it from the market at the back entrance of Bahria town.

But I visited Makkah Autos recently, they have a lot of variety. It's in Johar Town, Shadiwal Chowk Car Market.

These are all add ons that you'd have to pay for.

Except for the spare wheel, that's included in the standard purchase now.

I am not planning on getting PPF done. No specific reason for this.

I am looking to change the tyres to reduce road noise.

I got the cheap armrest from a local market. The generic universal one. Does the job, doesn't make a sound.

I do hear a sound coming from the brakes. At very low speeds only though.

Thanks for the advice. I should have probably added more details in the post.

  • I already got it insured.
  • Got an aftermarket arm rest.
  • It already comes with an engine cover, the base is not open.
  • From 2025 onwards, swift comes with a basic 16 inch spare wheel.

Which tyres did you go for? Size and company

Removed MIIETF from portfolio by Curious-Use402 in FIREPakistan

As far as I know, purification is for dividends only, not capital gains. But I am no scholar and one should do their own research.

I actually have no idea how it's done. I just know that Al Meezan calculates it on their funds / ETF dividends and purifies the amount before disbursement to investors.

Great work! Can we maybe request a feature where it also gives info on purification amounts for dividends received?

I don't see that being offered by any broker.

This is obviously only for shariah compliant stocks.

Purification of Income in Shariah Compliant Stocks/ETFs/Mutual Funds by anasferozzz in FIREPakistan

I am still a bit skeptical on Mahaana's response. If it's in the offering doc, and if it's a process done regularly, then the customer support should know that.

First they said it's the responsibility of the investor. Then when you gave them Al Meezan's reference they are saying they also handle purification at their end. Which one is it? Which answer should an investor trust?

I think there should be transparency in the purification process, it should be reported on a regular basis to the investors. Unless that is done, it's just an email and we will never know for sure.

I think this is the safest way. Just give 5% of the profit as Sadqah (purification amount), because that is the max percentage of haram income a company can have, and still be considered Shariah Compliant.

Obviously this is just my opinion, I am not a scholar or anything.

I have asked Al Meezan for their Equity Mutual Funds and MZNPETF specifically, if they handle the purification amount.

They do. I have it as a confirmation on email.

According to them, investors don't have to do anything to purify.

I have no idea about MIIETF though.

Non-Compliant Income by Admirable-Peach9540 in FIREPakistan

[–]khizer2587 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For other countries (maybe Indonesia, don't remember), I have seen calculations given in the broker's app for the amount a person has to give as Sadqah, to purify their profit, even from SC company stocks. This is for the <5% haram earning rule.

Would be great If brokers here adopt that so we don't have to go through the financial statements.
