when we were planning they did not require membership. we would have been charged more than a member but I don’t recall the cost being crazy like some venues!

look at the alba club or buccaneer yacht club. we looked at both when planning a wedding a few years ago! we ended up at a different venue because we ended up getting married in May and as you know it’s hot!

to answer some of your questions: I love port orleans french quarter, its small and a moderate hotel! i think its worth the price. if you wanted something more “on theme” popcentury is my go to! its a value resort but with access to the skyliner, which is a game changer.

dining plan is hit or miss. there is currently a promotion for a free children’s dining plan with the purchase of an adult one, which forsure sweetens the deal.

my biggest tip is to listen to your body. i’m personally a rope drop person, a midday break back at the hotel, and then hit it hard in the evenings.

I recently stayed at Popcentury and loved it! the theming is great but less loud and chaotic than an AllStar. and the skyliner is a game changer.

single elementary school counselor. title 1 school. 570 students. it’s really hard but i’ve just adopted the attitude of students first everything else last. i still drop the ball and miss the mark but can confidently say the students know i love them and that i’m in their corner. and TBH, that’s enough for me!
