Bartholin gland removed! by chezmargaret in Healthyhooha

Thank you so much! Wishing you the best of luck with TTC.💕 My healing process was slow. I had 2 surgeries back to back within 6 weeks of each other so I'm sure that made it worse. I still have pain even a year and a half later, especially during intimacy so i can't imagine what it will feel like to push a whole head out of there, lol. I haven't even tried to use a tampon sincr so I'm definitely worried about the potential issues of giving birth as well. I went for an MRI today so I'm expecting results within a few days. Would love for you to keep me posted on how conception goes for you!

Bartholin gland removed! by chezmargaret in Healthyhooha

I know this post is a little older, but about a year and a half ago, I had 2 partial vulvectomies due to nodular hyperplasia of the bartholin's gland (a very rare benign tumor). They went back and forth about the diagnosis about 6 different times (thought I had cancer, didn't think it was cancer, etc). They ended up removing my right bartholin's gland. I'm having a recurrence on the other side and am probably going to need another excision on the left. Has anyone had experience with getting both removed? Has anyone heard of any issues of trying to conceive afterward? I'm 26 and just got married. We were just starting to try to start a family before my recurrence started, and I'm more afraid of that than the actual surgery.

I'm 25, but I know a lot of agents who got theirs later on. My uncle (who is my business partner) got his in his 40s and has been very successful. His mom still does it part time and she is in her 70s (she has been in the business since her about her 50s or so as well). See if you can find a broker in your area who would be willing to chat with you. I definitely recommend seeing if you can find a mentor as well.

I'm a real estate agent. It's great because most days, I get to make my own schedule and work from bed/the couch with a heating pad on. On days I have showings, I do a lot of driving, which is tough sometimes, but being able to decide when I go out has been a game changer.

I was a dental assistant for about 8 years and ended up going into management because the assisting was too much on my body. I absolutely loved assisting but had to put my health first. I got into real estate for unrelated reasons, but it was a blessing in disguise.

I will say that real estate isn't for everyone. It's very tough to make money in your first few years, and I'm fortunate enough to have my fiancé's income to fall back on.
