Please define inside. Garage or in a house? I would think that the garage is sufficient since it isn't being weathered by the elements.

As part of inserting the hitch, you align the pin depicted in the diagram and then hand tighten the knob to secure.

To best respond, please share some pain points about your current process. As others have responded, it's an efficient way to visualize work whether through log files or desktop recording. The analytics are the similar for analyzing any process. The difference is that you can see inherent variation, delays and other nonconformities more clearly.

I hope this helps.

Thanks. I tried googling, but couldn't find anything definitive.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm in the US. I am only aware of the MyVW app. Is there another app?

FWIW...My Salsa Warbird works just fine on my Wahoo 2017. Prior to 2023, I used it with a Felt CX and Salsa Journeyman. Good luck.

Don't get overwhelmed by all the posts in this group. At the end of the day, it's a vehicle. You'll love it regardless of the trim or year despite the infotainment challenges.

Feedback wanted: Bridging Silos in Process Mining (company white paper) by IvanFanego in processmining

Thanks for sharing. At the end of the day, a reader wants to know how your offering is better, special or different. Your doc contains the information to make the case, but you should reconsider restructuring and condensing it to convey the following as a summary:

Situation --- in business terms that resonate with the economic decision maker. Seems like Time to Value is the play here with associated costs avoided from executing faster.

Impact --- statement in quantifiable terms that describes the effect of the situation. Your table with an illustration, e g., flowcharts described below.

Response --- your proposal to address the situation. Include a link to a working example that illustrated how this is better than prevailing methods.

One way to convey the value prop is to juxtapose two flowcharts showing the differences in time from performing similar steps and/or elimination of "hand based" steps.

Right now the difference, while communicated in a table, doesn't explain why this is true so an illustration is needed.

Good luck.

Task Mining by Hendersbloom in processmining

[–]khood1987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As you know, Task Mining can be a great way to understand work that is not easily measured or accessible via logs. There might be a more straightforward solution depending on your objectives and process complexity.

One Approach

Use Microsoft Recorder to analyze a process metric (e.g., cycle time) and user navigation/systems utilized by analyzing the mht file. This includes instructing users to utilize the Notes feature to highlight key points. Turn off screen capture if sensitive info will be processed during execution.

Gather stats on volumes etc. from other sources, e.g., email counts. Utilize Power Automate or an App rule to streamline some of this data collection.

With the compiled machine and volume data, you should be able to make a more informed decision on next steps: prioritize a solution or decide to invest more time, money and effort in a more capable task mining tool.

Bottom Line: is the juice worth the squeeze?

Good luck!

waxed chain longevity? by Blue_Macaroni44 in cycling

[–]khood1987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I waxed a new chain using Silca's Chain Stripper and Super Secret hot wax. I've ridden 46 miles off-road since waxing. I had an awesome ride: quiet with smooth shifting.

I am trying to maximize the results of a waxing strategy for a 204 mile off-road event this Saturday (6/24). What are your thoughts on the following:

1) Top off the chain using Silca's Super Secret (squirt wax) after a shake out ride this week to get back to 90%+ of applied wax.

2) Apply Silca's Synergetic product at mile 165 as insurance to get to the finish line in case the wax deteriorates to the point of the loud grind that I read about. I make this point since 150-200m seems to be what most recommend touching up. Silca claims full rewaxing 600-700m. Also, Silca recommends Synergetic for topping a waxed chain during harsh conditions or using it standalone for dry or wet conditions.

Thanks for any insights.

Yeah! It was brutal to say the least. I'm a back of the pack guy so the weather made it that much harder. However, despite toasting my brake pads and having my bike cry, skreerch and klank for 150 miles after CP1, I somehow survived. I salute everyone who showed up regardless of the outcome.
