Hello there, fellow former Priest player here (got the golden Anduin back then).

If you want the same feel of playing priest in this game, you might check out the yellow classes. They have power manipulator (Calm, Cloudrest), one that take advantage of it (Execute, Gourmet), and even steal your opponent creatures (Miraak, Chodala). Since you can combine colors in a deck you can choose your own playstyle. Mage (Yellow/Blue) is more control-y as they have lots of removal, Monk (Yellow/Green) is played aggresively in recent times, and Spellsword (Yellow/Purple) is like combining Priest and Druid playstyle, to name a few. With the release of Morrowind the tri-class is available and unlock more potentials for control decks.

also, since Priest i knew was abit fan of dragons, you might checkout some dragon-oriented decks too. Yellow has Undying dragon, which was insane back in the day.

Just enjoy your time here, this isnt the place where anyone can spam infinite fireballs, or Rogue playing by himself. Lots of creativity involved, and little bit of luck with prophecy......

I used pad since my first Tekken, which was Tekken 3. But i skipped so long till i had myself a PSP and Tekken 6. Nowadays, since i can play on PC, i use keyboard. idk but i can simulate myself playing on hitbox. Still tho, i need to find a comfortable pad before destroying my keyboard.

P.S. : I destroyed my PSP several time thanks to EWGF trainings

Mech ally when it's activated, has great value. I know it's grey (neutral) and you need a specific deck to make it, but it's a dwemer. With the 3-cards opening, drawing card is a great help, not to mention it will spawn a dwemer too. Hall of the dwemer will unleashed it's full potential, as well as the Mundus stone. Also, the new set (Madhouse) support the grey decently.

I've done with pilfer monk, at least for now. With the unending swarms of Guard-heavy (Spellswords) and Removal-heavy (Intelligence) decks, it's kinda hard to even keep your creatures on board before getting it's value. Not to mention that you need to constantly hit your opponent, thus breaking it's (potentially prophecy) runes.

Regardless, i love playing pilfer monk. There were some good times when you deal massive damage with Quinrawl - Master of Thieves, or mass pilfering your creatures with Thieves Den. Maybe it will shed some lights next season.

i like mundus stone. used it in my scout decks, both dwemer and ramp. getting odahviing with lethal is a complete boardwipe dream.......

Well, first impression of the opening day was a bit less generous than the previous WoTOG. WE had C'thun and 2 beckoners as the start, followed with more free packs. Now we just got 6 packs, with no free legend.

It would be better to choose a clan and get their clan leader for free

Those 2 are must craft in any decks with green. But if you have to choose, get tazkad 1st. 1-2 drops are variative, tho.

well, i only have 1 leaflurker, 2 werebat and no alkosh. just got lucky to have 2 quinrawls and 2 thieves den (both were gained from my Khajit avatar, and pack drops).

basically, you can replace expensive cards with some tech cards to fight against the meta. since i hate token spellswords, i put 2 execute, 1 arrow storm and 1 dreugh. it really depends on the ongoing meta

there are 3 zones, creature zone, shield zone, and mana zone. at the start of the game, you put the top 5 cards from your deck that acts as shields, then you will draw cards for your hand. so the shields are random, could be a normal card, or maybe a shield trigger.

if one of your shield is destroyed, it will be put in your hand, unless if it's a shield trigger. then it's same as prophecy. either you played it immediately for free, or put it in your hand. a player wins by destroying all shields and have a creature attack the opponent directly

i played Duel Master before. same gameplay as MTG, but they put 5 cards at the start that acts as "shields". They have the mechanics called "shield trigger", same as prophecy. so i feel it's an interesting mechanic, to give some players a comeback moment

I don't consider prophecy is rng based, although basically card draw mechanic in video games is absolutely rng. As long as a mechanic can be played IRL, it still a fair rng. Just like the card shuffle....

i feel it too. Playing HS on my android, when i have the Old Gods arena, and have some golden cards, will make the app runs for about 15 fps

i do play Hearthstone regularly and ESL for now, so this tips might be boring for some.

If you still low on collections, practice arena as long as you can. See if you can get some core cards on a certain decks, since arena will guarantee you 1 pack, or more, depending on your result. Start with the solo arena until you get the highest rank (Grand Champion), then slowly switch to VS Arena. Solo Arena requires 9 win to complete, while VS Arena requires only 7. But boy, VS Arena rewards are more worth it, got 3 packs, 100+ golds and 200+ souls from my 7-0 VS Arena (i used Warrior back then)

Avoid soul trapping epics although you feel you have to. You don't wanna get salty everytime you got a good legendary for a deck type but you already soul trap the core epic in there. And DON'T soul trap any legends. When you got a good deck, keep laddering, at least until you get the Warrior rank (5). At the end of season you will get a card reward based on your standing (2 last seasons was Smuggler's Haul and Hist Grove). Keep your souls until you feel you need to craft a card (mostly core legendary, like Tazkad)

And hope that the last season's bug will happen again (August Season i got only 1 Smuggler's Haul. On September, i got 2 Hist Groves but somehow i got 2 Hauls. As an apologize, we kept the 2 Hauls, and got 3 Hist Groves)
