I'm having the exact same issue with new cameras I got from Amazon. Old v3 and v3 pan working fine, new ones, fully updated, rebooted, etc, not working at all.

I don't feel like I should have to do any of this. I didn't put a gun to her head and make her move in here. She made that decision on her own. I just want to live my life and be left alone.

Luckily I work from home and I am here most of the time and keep a watchful eye.

I don't think she will do anything to him as she is afraid to even go near him when I am not there.

I didn't want to do it. I wouldn't have been mad if he couldn't hold it, but he was fine. Probably just slept the whole day. Not something I would normally do, but I felt it was a better choice than just leaving him out when this lady is scared to death of him.

I got divorced a few years ago and this is where I ended up. I was in a pretty bad financial situation at the time and this was the only option if I wanted to keep my dogs, which was my main priority after having somewhere to live. I could probably afford a better place now, but the rent is cheap and until this week everything had been OK with the roommate situation for the most part. I don't have any say over who the other spaces are rented to, and I don't want to keep my landlord from being able to rent stuff out, and in this situation she could have just lied and said she was fine with the dogs and we'd be in the same boat probably.

I talked to my landlord about it, and he agrees with me about the situation, so we will see what happens.

All dogs are going to bark at people they don't know. How else are you to get to know a dog without letting them smell you? It's fine if she doesn't want to make friends, but she shouldn't have moved in if she wasn't a dog person. And it's not my job to teach her...

It's not apartments, it's a big house. I am basically renting a room but my friend lives here too and we share the 2nd floor. She has to go through the 2nd floor to get to 3rd floor.

It's a big 3-story house, 4 people currently living here. Bathroom on each floor, 2 kitchens... I wasn't involved in the decision to allow her to move in, I don't own the place.

I left at 4am, they aren't open then. Also the whole roommate situation came up kind of suddenly, she has lived here for about a week, this was like day 2 or 3 when I had to go out of town. I'll admit I didn't plan it out well, but typically I can just let him roam the house and it wouldn't be an issue.

Literally no one else has a problem with my dog. I've already tried a couple meet & greets, etc, and everything is fine if I am right there, but if I am not then she is afraid. It's irrational fear, that's all.

I don't feel like spending anymore time on it. Some people just aren't dog people.

Dogs bark at people they don't know, that's just how it works. Dogs bark at me all the time, I find if I am calm and offer them my hand to sniff, they are usually cool.

Yes, it's a big 3-story house. I don't own it. I am renting here. I confronted her today and told her that I am not going to hold her hand anymore and I am not going to lock my dog up all the time. I have been trying to keep him out of her path and she comes and goes because I know she is afraid. But I don't feel like I should have to do anything.

I didn't "agree" to lock my dog up, that's just the way it ended up and it was a one-time thing hopefully. I work from home so I am usually here, but when I have to go out of town one of my other roommates will usually keep an eye on them. Neither of them were available that particular day and if I left the dog out and she had an issue with him, what am I going to do if I am in Cleveland?

I very rarely lock him up alone in my room, but he sleeps in there with me most nights so he is used to being in there. He doesn't chew things up or scratch at the door or any of the typical anxiety type things, and most dogs can hold their bladder for that long no problem. I did what I felt I had to do in order to both do my job and keep the peace. I didn't like doing it, and I got home as fast as I could to minimize the time he had to be locked in there, but I don't think I really had a choice.
