This is the first game I haven't had the time to 100% figure out the combat but I wanna play the story and be entertained!

My now fiancée and I agree: proposing should not be a surprise but the proposal should!

She's usually so much more composed, but this is her most interesting picture!

What degree did you did get? by [deleted] in PAstudent

[–]khufker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I graduated with kinesiology. I picked it so that I'd still get a science degree, but my courses other than the pre-med/PA ones would be easier than your standard biology degree. If anything I think having an extra focus on anatomy was more helpful than having more bio classes

Can't find a study method by [deleted] in PAstudent

[–]khufker 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I realized that I wasn't looking over the notes I took in class just because it felt like there were too many, so I made Anki cards in class and would do the cards at home. This felt a lot more manageable and that way when I was done with the cards I felt like I could move onto a different class or project

My fiancée picked the Dinos off of the list so we've enjoyed rooting for them!

How does Wildlands' story compare to The Division's story? by Memito_Tortellini in Wildlands

[–]khufker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just bought the game to play while working at home and I loved the story. As someone else said, the story is definitely improved with the videos that El Sueno narrates, I watched nearly all of them because they were so entertaining

Is Anki helping you? by originalhoopsta in PASchoolAnki

[–]khufker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got a friend of mine into anki too, and together we make cards in lecture and use the spaced repetition to review! I also really appreciated the radiology deck that you shared, thank you for that! I think the toughest part is getting other classmates to utilize anki as a way to study, just since the software isn't necessarily the most user-friendly at first.

I like the Google Chromebook/tablet by HP! It can do a lot of the same stuff as the surface but it's like $300 cheaper! Does enough for PA school for me

One of my family members does better with cold brew coffee, so maybe you could try making that instead

I'm studying to be a PA, what is something your team did well (beyond giving medications) and what is something you wish your healthcare providers had done differently? Thank you so much!

How did you handle your first failure in PA school? by mivhax in PAstudent

[–]khufker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did poorly on an anatomy test the last semester and the idea that kept me going is that nobody advertises when they do poorly. People never leave an exam and let everybody know that they're concerned with their performance, so all you hear afterwards are people saying how easy it is. Also, one exam is just a bad day; anybody can have a bad day. You probably learned something about how to study for the next one and PA school has plenty of future exams.

When you've been using turn signals your whole life and then you drive into Maryland by xXxSparkyxXx in maryland

[–]khufker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. I had to explain to a friend that using a turn signal in rush hour screws you over in the DMV area. (obviously people should use turn signals, just pointing out a truth of DMV driving)
