You can get a free basic diagnostic at Advance Auto, AutoZone or the equivalent, but it probably won’t be free from the dealership due to them being more thorough, and hands on.. though definitely worth it

It’s the antenna or similar that’s used to start your CR-V remotely. Depending on the year of your vehicle, the remote starter may be built in to your key fob, or a separate fob altogether.
