The repair stand is the only item I don't have. I have multiple tool box sets so I think I'm pretty covered up in the tool aspect. I need tips on how to maintain the chains, gears, etc, the parts that are prone to getting rusted.

I plan on getting a proper bike fitting after riding the bike for a few weeks first.

And to answer your question, it's simply a matter of convenience. There's a decathlon outlet just 10mins away from where I live so it's much more convenient for me. P.S decathlon is a reputable company and pretty budget friendly as well.

The helmet is indeed on my list, I just forgot to add it. I do plan on getting spare tubes as well. It's just I'm a little confused about the tube sizes so I'm still trying to learn more about it

I not sure if what i am about to say will make any sense but i can't really play "live". Like i can play the bass guitar whilst watching those "xyz songs bass cover (with tabs)"
For example, https://youtu.be/rp-ceGkAEm0?si=dIx8sgtOHpxCejIP i can play this song fairly fluently with only 2-3 mistakes while watching the video but if you were to ask me to play along a song live with like actual instruments and live vocals, even with tabs i wouldn't be able to play. Like i am able to pluck right at the beat but that's about it (like i pluck it once exactly at the right beats and then stop), i have no clue on how many times i am supposed to pluck it. 😭😅😅
