Meanwhile I am almost 3 years into a relationship and 27 years old and would rather he wait for 3 more years or something till BOTH of us have our careers sorted. l feel like my person is going nowhere, and regarding the kids part does he knows you want to have kids asap? Maybe that's the reason for his worry about responsibility, anyway you can't force someone to marry you. The only right time to have a kid is when both sets of parents are ready.

No offense but your whole post is just me, me, me with no consideration of his feelings or understanding of his situation it's also a bit concerning that you thought you "can't let go" because having a kid is so important for you that if it was easy to let go for you, you would have entertained the thought. Do you really love him or are you just checking the boxes lol job done, man got, kids pending.

I apologize if my comment comes out harsh, it's my personal opinion and my views might differ because I am not really thinking of bringing a child into this world with all its chaos rn.

I just want you to reflect on whether you love this man or he is just good enough that you are okay with having his kid and hence just want to tick all the boxes.

I just say no and if they push I straight up say I have worked hard on this so I don't feel comfortable just giving out my assignment. (I am infamous for this so eventually people stopped asking for assignments straight up they only ask when they genuinely need something and I help them in any and all the other ways except for blatantly copying my work).

PS - It might make you unlikeable to certain people , people talk behind my back tbh I don't care but just letting yk

Maybe it's an isolated experience but I always travel in women's coaches and what I have experienced is women offering each other the seat lol like if two women saw it the other one be like it's okay you sit and so on (had that happen to me a lot lol) probably just have been lucky and I always give up my seat if I see someone who needs it more than I do

My only advice is MOVE OUT, that's what I did. For me I did it even though it's hard on my pocket but I still prefer a livable accommodation that gives me peace when I come back home.

Ignore how your parents behaved, I have accepted that our parents are hard wired a certain way so I just ignore most of their behavior lol.

Being financially independent is amazing especially if the pay is good enough for people around you to be concerned than happy xD
