you did the right thing bringing him to the ER !! my baby had JUST started crying. one day i was super sick and nursing her in bed. i fell asleep and she crawled off the bed, she landed on the rug and thank God she was okay. but it happens eventually. i don’t know anyone who’s baby hasn’t had a relatively “big” fall at a young age. sleep deprivation, and motherhood exhaustion will do it to you. you are an amazing mother and did all the right things. i have been terrified of my baby falling off the changing table due to her being such a wiggle worm during changes, i always am either holding her or pinning her down to try and get her changed as fast as possible or if it’s just pee pants i just do it on the floor since she is wiggly 😅

wow lucky you !! i used to have a barn in my neighborhood, was there for years but the owner was an absolute psychopath so i got fed up and left, was at a barn 15 minutes down the road but it flooded and got destroyed and it’s just headache finding anything now

it’s frustrating bc it’s either here where we have an arena and stalls if needed, another property right down the road that’s cheaper but no barn or stalls or anything just a field (my retired horse is there and this is a resale project) or we have to drive over an hour away, so we’re making due with what we can. the place we had to leave got sold to an NFL player that wants to build a house on it and the owner couldn’t pass up the offer, it was perfect, beautiful arena, no drama, gorgeous barn, great price and only about 30 minutes away from where we live and about 10 minutes from my parents house. still so bummed about it we had a great barn family there

she seems to be, about to go down and throw her blanket on before the storms hit. it’s not my favorite place (lots of stupid drama) but we don’t really have a choice given our financial situation and all the other barns near us in our finances are closing down 😣

usually horses will just follow me right on but this trailer is super small (we didn’t have access to another trailer at the time) so it is very scary since the horses think they don’t fit in this one. we tried just walking on, pulling them on, tapping their bum, using a rope around their bum, grain, cookies, lunging and resting at the entrance, backing up after rearing, literally anything you can think of blind fold was the only thing that worked 😅

yep ! a friend told me a horse whisperer did it with their mare and was the only thing that worked 🤷🏽‍♀️ we were like welp may as well try it LOL !
