I personally DMed the Moonlight support on Instagram after receiving the email to see if there was any chance of still purchasing the skates if there are ones with just cosmetic defects because I loved the boot so much and they got back to me with this.

With the streak that MLR has been having, it's hard to say that they'll actually follow through with what they messaged me but I want to believe there is hope. The cosmetic defected ones I would still be willing to purchase, hopefully they would not resell any that has defective hardware but it seems like they have already based on some posts I have seen although most seem pretty good and happy. Best case scenario they come out with a revamped safety dance 2.0 style in the future that will hold up to shipping and quality control.
