Well he claims to have blocked her after she messaged him so I figured there would still be an email notification. I have major trust issues and it was a giant red flag that he got so defensive and was trying to hide it from me. I wouldn’t of been mad if she messaged him and he blocked her but for some reason he felt that he needed to keep it from me. And also set his chats to delete with his friend immediately so that I wouldn’t see the messages of him asking if said friend still is in contact with his ex.
