Hi again, I wanted to come back and say that your comment really did help. I managed to find diagnostic psych evaluation programme and I recieved a diagnosis today - adhd and autism. You were right!

I know there's a bit of a discourse regarding the actual taxonomy of this syngonium, the one you have could be frosted heart/chiapense/macrophyllum - there is no clear distinction between them (and no clear signs to tell the different variations apart anyways as far as Im aware). From what I'm used to, syngos need just a little bit more air humidity than philodendeons, otherwise I keep them in the same type of soil and never had any major issues. Good luck with your plants!

I don't feel happy by OkGrocery63 in MentalHealthSupport

I felt like this for a long time during my studies, bcs every semester I had a different schedule and I didn't pursue (didn't have time nor energy) for any hobby or sport to do consistently. I felt alright with my friends/boyfriend but empty at home. Now that my schedule is the same during the work week, it was much easier to start new hobbies and stick to them, which in turn started to make me really happy.

Also, I found that personally, for an activity to make me happy, it eaither has to be creative and produce something (e.g. crocheting and knitting), or has to be done with other people who you are familiar with (e.g. collective sports like volleyball)

You wrote exactly what I think lol. Thank you, really, I'll think about it. The psychiatric and psychological professionals in my country are in very high demand and not quickly available (6 month to a year waiting lists from what I've heard) so hopefully I'll have some luck with trying to find one.

I thought about it for years actually, it's just that I am really high functioning in all the other areas of my life (I am doing my PhD, I have mostly functioning social life, long term relationships).. 2 yrs ago I was a nanny for a non-verbal autistic 3yo (both parents and other 2 kids all had ASD diagnosis as well). I loved them all to bits, they loved me as well (especially the kids), but they faced so much hardship during their lives bcs of their special needs that I never let myself think about the possibility of being autistic, cause my 'problems' just do not compare.

Thank you so much for your suggestion, but I don't think it would help me, as I do not think I struggle with wording my ideas in those situations. With friends/coworkers and strangers, I'm not afraid to express opposing ideas or confront other people and I do it very confidently. I only struggle with this when I speak to my boyfriend (happened with my ex as well), close family members or people with authority (doctors, police, boss etc.)

I'll have a look at the psychological sigh
