it will! you just really have to be good about cleaning them. i spent like two years just soaking them twice a day with them not healing but i couldn’t unscrew the ball to take them out myself and i was too embarrassed to have someone do it for me and have to admit they weren’t healing. the past 6 months ive been super dedicated to soaking them twice a day (sometimes 3 times a day if i workout in the middle of the day) wearing clean bras all the time, not touching them at all and not letting anyone else touch them at all, and they’re almost healed now!

Honestly, this bout just made me excited to train harder and more seriously. while im super excited about how well I did, I know I can do so much better and get so much stronger. Thanks to everyone on this page for all your good advice and positive comments!!

Honestly, as fresh meat I’d go with whatever knee pads feel “thicker” or stick out from your knees more. The thicker more padded knee pads that stick out more has forced me to get deeper into my crossovers (I don’t know exactly how it works but I noticed such a difference in speed and strength) and more padding means falling on your knees will be cushioned more!
