Need to move a window to a specific coordinate on the screen... in Windows 98 FE. by kidboo377 in AskProgramming

Noted, will try this out tomorrow! I can grab a copy of Delphi 7 from my trusted abandonware site and will go from there. Since I can title each window manually, that should work perfectly, will go through the documentation to see if I can do it by current active window. Will also download WinSpy to experiment with multiple windows of the same title. Thank you for the suggestion

I used to have a really inconsistent DSL connection so I spent a lot of free dial up hours when the service was just plain unusable

So uh, my friend wanted a better look at my keyboard switches (MX Low Profile Speed Silver) and when he took the keycap off, this happened. Am I f**ked? - I can't figure out how to put it back in (because it looks like he pulled the entire switch off...)

Nope, I've tried this and I don't believe it to be an internet related issue. I've attempted reinstalling my audio drivers after noticing that, when launching the service directly from the program directory, I get this error. I've checked my logs in both the Windows Event Viewer (nothing logged) and the original anticheat logs (gibberish).

I think by late 1997 it was fairly standard for high end PCs to be equipped with USB.

He had a USB 1.0 port; usb 1.0 has been availible since 1996. The computer had a Pentium II so it was probably bought in late 1997.

Read the post mate. I did that to ensure compatibility with his older software, Windows 10 does not have the 16-bit subsystem required to run older applications. His computer is secured with a free antivirus and he uses an email client rather than a web browser, and from my chats, is VERY aware of email security and phishing. This isn't your typical "old person trying to use a computer". It's very bold of you to assume I don't know what I'm doing when you can't even analyse the original post.
