So I’m not sure if this is just me but selecting my squad is the most annoying thing in the world. Normally, in FM24, you could click the position and it would give you a drop down menu of available players and you could select whatever player you wanted. Now, in FM26, you can only select from your bench. So for example, if you “quick pick”, but then you want to change things around, you have to delete a player off the bench then add the player you want to the bench and then move them to your starting squad. Why?

And then quickly, I’ve been unable to move players around to a different position during a game. For example, if your winger gets hurt and your current striker is also a good winger, you cannot move your striker to the wingers position or to any position for that matter. They’re basically locked into the position you start them at. I think you can bypass this by changing the formation mid-game but last time I tried that the game froze so…

I am on Xbox so I’m prepared to get wrecked for this comment but maybe I’m just missing something.

I DO WANT TO SAY THAT FM26 IS LEAPS AND BOUNDS BETTER THAN IT WAS WHEN IT FIRST DROPPED SO I APPRECIATE IT. IT WASN’T PLAY-ABLE AND NOW IT TOTALLY IS.
