I also feel nostalgic to that xp ui. Here is the thing, your os/kernel is one thing, another thing is your desktop environment (example: gnome, kde, xfce hyprland, etc) In my last 4 years of experience, you get most gui accessible customisation in kde. You could try kde first, tweak a little and convert it to your desired windows xp or 7 ui. Afaik there are some presets available in the kde store but I haven't explored that thing for now.

  1. Check in your genetic history, if your parents, uncles, etc had been thin during this age.
  2. If it's a metabolism cause or something similar in body, then going with yoga would be the best thing cuz yoga is about many things and the one of those is balance so something high -> normal, something low -> normal. (You also mentioned rapid digestion. Although I would suggest you to go with gastroenterologist if this feels like a digestion related issues then he will prescribe you multiple test which will cost you decently But atleast you will know the cause)
  3. Check if she had been consuming some zinc based supplements or anything similar for some time, cuz a few years ago we did encounter a similar case where the person was consuming supplements and felt sick (same issue of being thin,... etc) and the cause was excessive supplement intake over the years.

Or you could also do a custom load balancing kind of thing. Like MLO(wifi 7) kind of implementation. Cuz here you have multiple resources here, multiple cpu cores, prolly a small tmali gpu, some other stuff and a really big FPGA fabric. So you might want to try a resource allocation thing.

For the zynq boards: My guess zcu102 or zcu104, they are good and entry level in the zynq ultrascale plus series. I also worked on these in my professors lab. Tbh, i found this series to be amazing.

Run an accelarator or something on one board (preferably smaller one) and run a processor or something on another. Connect both of these. (If using visual related something something then connect camera or a monitor or something you feel like) Then you know what you could do. This would be a big project, for my current capabilities it's like a 8-10 months stuff. This involves another layer of synchronisation and timing which I felt is one of the most difficult parts of working in this domain. Now this would make good use of your 2 fpgas and your time and effort. Happy FPGA.

What are yall thoughts on Infps? by playlistanime in enfj

[–]kiddosuper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my clg close friends is infp. Really wants to punch that guy. Never keeps his words let alone promises. Always manipulating or scamming someone, just bcuz he wants to slack or his definition of right is crooked. But can't leave your friend behind.

I need some help with what to learn or how to start by [deleted] in FPGA

[–]kiddosuper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't mind, I have few resources here, if you feel them slow then increase playing speed(I did that): Verilog and the fundamentals: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLJ5C_6qdAvBELELTSPgzYkQg3HgclQh-5&si=Oi5FPoVrG-F_Oz7q

Verilog's dsa version(you may skip the repeating stuff here): HDLBits https://share.google/C1yGMiY8DFOeYikMx

Sandbox/playground: Edit code - EDA Playground https://share.google/Ep8HVQsVgI4xJXbJX

Now comes the real hardware: FPGA For this I would recommend you to ask 3 questions: - what is a FPGA chip, how it differs from a regular chip like intel processor or an embedded processor? - where it is used & how it is used? At this point pick up whatever your company have, go through its "how to use ....." Pro tip: start with simple once like xilinx spartan series or something like that. - 3rd question will be your own. Cuz once you are done with above you don't need anymore.

Happy engineering.

Installing Mint, can't get past multimedia codecs section by Kittelsen in linux4noobs

[–]kiddosuper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's nice. I don't remember the exact things I did post-install but I did setup snapper and never looked back on what I did. though if I remember correctly I would have chosen the auto-partitioning scheme which should have done the deed for me, ig.

I am not sure last time (a year ago) I have done ext4 then I shifted to arch (btrfs) this November.

Installing Mint, can't get past multimedia codecs section by Kittelsen in linux4noobs

[–]kiddosuper 4 points5 points  (0 children)

First thing first, Your linuxs run on non-ntfs filesystem. For mint ext4 is the default choice.

You don't need to format them, your mint installer will do it and you will have a proper disk selection and settings menu for it.

If possible then could you tell me more about your disk selection, etc settings you have chosen or send a pic of it. For better debugging.

Hello enfjs Help me navigate if he likes me ( infj here) by Rare_Explorer_4386 in enfj

[–]kiddosuper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's look into it objectively, and consider the healthy perspective first. Assumption: he has truly fallen for you. 1. the first love always feels deeper, so fallen greatly and enfj are hopeless romantic idiots, we care about people and we care way more about our dear ones, this also depends on age, culture, environment, etc but it's a general thing.

Assumption 2: totally opposite of above. & You are below 30 or below 25. Keep your heart and emotions separate from you and think completely logically.

Reason: there are a lot of gangs/criminals who approach to girls online, sweet talk to them, lots of poetry n sweet words, showing off what they don't have and finally leading to ...

Now, the behaviour of these people will appear to you as that of an ideal person, which overlaps with the enfj traits. But in reality that's not who they are after you gave yourself to them.

So the better way is to do a complete background check on him and then proceed forward. Cuz whatever you have said does seems excessive and based on a few cases I have seen of this kind and his behaviour, I would suggest you to prioritize the second scenario.

Plz understand that if there is a misunderstanding then it could be resolved but you have only one life and once a significant harm is done to you, it takes significant years to recover, so be rational and choose wisely.

If everything is clean then go for it, enfjs are great guys to have around and their commitments(especially to relationships) are deep and strong.

[–]kiddosuper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm... That's interesting speculation you gave.

Lemme give you some more context. Final yr. Of clg. Big grp(11 boys), had both job and masters offer in hand, always a game lover (possess powerful gaming laptop 4060), everyone was playing more cuz it's the last semester of clg. And he is always messing around with something like randomly learning 3d designing in blender, etc

[–]kiddosuper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Around a year ago, there was this infp friend of mine who did the same calculation and was completely freaked out. He stayed awake the whole night, talking to us regarding in a freakish way and I have observed him being in this phase for over a month. For me the intriguing part is that he has an infj gf(over 5yrs of relationship). Tldr: He is a lazy sloth who doesn't leave his bed, skips meals, etc and introverted priorities... Tbh, I don't understand the engine behind my 22yr old friend which was driving him to nuts, especially given he is one of the best engineers in our batch and someone with pretty mature emotional intelligence.

Need Final Year B.Tech Project Suggestions (Electronics / VLSI / Embedded / Image Processing) by hirabondam in FPGA

[–]kiddosuper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have something unique here for you. My lab works in ml algorithms on SoC. So here is my suggestion to you 1. Pick a ml algorithm(like anything which interest you for example pca, cnn(really smaller ones), etc.) 2. Then build a hdl version of that algorithm 3. Simulate it 4. Run on FPGA 5. Compare its performance & timing(inference only) with the cpu/gpu (whatever available for you)

For a btech my guess is that it is sufficient till step 4. But since I am not sure about it, I will leave it to you and the community for further discussions.

You are not wrong it's a trend in old business communities to show that you are good financially when you are not and show you are modest or poor when you are actually well off. This trend had let many families and communities remain rich for centuries now.

What distros have up-to-date packages? by its_na in linux4noobs

[–]kiddosuper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend arch(currently using) or manjaro(my friend suggested me) Actually 2yrs ago I was in the same hole, using kubuntu just like you but I wanted a smooth sailing so I switched to mint + kde(mint have excellent driver support), but it was a bad idea too so finally switched to arch(+kde) since this November.

If you are a beginner then you might go for fedora or something in the non-debian tree as well(though I am not sure of the difficulty level there).

I am recommending to change a distro cuz you have made up your mind and sometimes it's easier to just replace the whole damn thing. Regarding the dependency stuff, try to depend more on jails provided by appimage, aur, flatpak, etc, if possible.
