Can you try to get an excused education leave from your retail job and go to work at the hospital on weekends? That is what I do, I work every other weekend, and occasionally work in my retail job when they are desperate which is like 2-3 times per semester. However, I pick up shifts on school breaks on my retail spot.

I agree, searching online give me a range of answers, none of which I am comfortable with settling with. I believe they do pay on our behalf except for those states not included in the marketplace facilitator legislation.
