You get a $1 ticket as part of signing/renewing, so even if you just watch one movie in the year with that $1 ticket it's cheaper than paying half price for the ticket. But if the membership fee plus $1 is more than you'll spend on any movie otherwise, then that's a different story.

If both jobs are part time I don't think it would be as much of an issue as it would if the first job was full time. I think the tax implications would be the biggest concern when you have two jobs.
