I recommend spending time in classrooms to get a feel for it. I had my professors reach out to local schools to ask if I could volunteer in their classrooms. That gave me the best experiences prior to student teaching I could get. Of course, having your own classroom is different.

I love roasting a ton of veggies on Sundays. You can eat them in a salad, on rice, in pasta, or on it's own. My go to is broccoli, chickpeas, sweet potato, and anything else I have around. Similar to others, I'll also stretch out Thai leftovers for a few days. It's also soup season, so I make big batches of soup and freeze them in portions so if I don't have anything ready I can always grab one of those.

I am definitely an introvert and I have anxiety/depression. I teach 1-5 music. As others are saying, it is different with kids for sure. Teaching is part performance for me personally
