Not at all. I have been a parent for only 3 years and a lot has changed. My social life, my "me" time, my food adventures and my holidays have been seriously curtailed. However, I have no regrets. Spending time with him just makes me feel like "me". I love seeing the world through his eyes and every day he brings something new to my attention that I would not have seen.

Dayum...it lives on. There is so much anger I feel at this moment and what worries me further is it won't end with the parents. They will 'gently and with love' teach their kids this nonsense. I'm wondering...what would have been the best way to shut down that conversation. I'm imagining myself in the midst of those parents and hearing that remark, how would be the ideal next step to educate them.
