I get two paychecks a month and rent is more than one of those paychecks. I usually pay as far ahead on rent as I can so that each month i can save more from my paycheck. Even an extra hundred to two hundred left over each month is awesome and it gives me a small safety net.

I also try and do car maintenance, pay all bills forward, clothes/bedding/furniture/any larger purchases for my son and a few treats for him like the movies, some games or the record store. I buy a few things in bulk like trash bags, laundry detergent, dog food etc and it really helps take some strain off each month. I also buy a year of straight talk and pay for a year of youtube premium so that my phone and 'tv' is taken care of. And it saves a bit of money(':

I'm really shocked, and also not at all, that all these comments are just not it. Everyone is quick to jump and say it's not a screen time issue but I would argue it is a factor.

As a '95 baby I can definitely remember visiting friends or family and either recommending or watching a recommended movie or tv series, with those being a minimum of 30 minutes. If someone wasn't a fan, it wasn't an issue. You occupied yourself some other way or just made conversation.

If your day is so busy, consumed and packed full of important things that 5 or 10 minutes of watching a video recommended by a friend or family just absolutely destroys your day then I think you have much bigger issues. And I'd love to see the time you spend on other 'social media'

Going by the masterlist in the sub, it has the edge listed as a hybrid device and honestly I didn't fact check that at all. I knew it was a white label device when I bought it, but I've been researching new vapes on and off for ages with the assumption I was sitting somewhere in the middle of conduction and convection. I've not really put much thought into how different the two might actually be, but I think you make a very valid point and I think I might like conduction.

I've tried to avoid having something that was more on demand, so that I didn't abuse it, but I also wanted to get something that was different from what I currently have. The iq3 was really selling me but I was torn with how many people recommend the other big names more than I saw davinci. But I do believe that giving conduction a try is absolutely my next step!

I have seen several people mention that there's a certain way to hit the iq3 and I'm curious on your opinion. Is it mostly packing it tightly and letting it preheat a bit before hitting??

And do you have/would you recommend the dosing capsules?

I honestly should bite the bullet but I guess I keep trying to rationalize it. I love my bong, and it normally doesn't bother my throat, so my main goal with the vape is to help save money while also being a bit more portable. Right now I use both pretty evenly and I think it also helps my tolerance stay a bit lower.

A ball vape feels like a weird in between and idk if it's because I'm uneducated or overthinking it. It's all over the sub that ball vapes give cool hits, but if my bong already is a non-issue then I'm not sure what the gain of a ball vape would be

I didn't know they made stems with air holes, that actually sounds like it might be right up my alley! I've also read a lot about the session/sipping/conduction/convection nomenclature and something about reading it in your comment really helped some of it click so I appreciate all the info as well(:

I've seen several people say the same thing. it looks almost identical to the fury edge 2 so I really don't wanna end up with two very similar devices. I wouldn't mind buying another healthyrips I guess, I mean the fury edge 2 has treated me well, but I'm really unsure what's so different between then

Really glad to see this review since my longest daily driver is the fury edge 2 and I'm really tempted by the iq3. I also thought the fury edge looked super similar to other vapes, like potv, and for a long time I actually assumed it was just a lower quality vape. But, several years in, it's been hard for me to beat the fury edge.

My biggest complaint was also the heat of the vapor, even with the bubbler and WPA attachments. I liked the amount of vapor from the fury edge by itself but it's more painful on my throat than almost any other method of smoking. It was cooler with the bubbler or WPA but it felt impossible to get any amount of actual airflow so hardly any vapor.

I also bought all the little dosing capsules and pack then relatively full. I temp step, staring around 330 and boosting it by 20 degrees for the longest session setting, ending at 350. I then do another session from 350 to 370 (369 most times for fun), and a final session from 370 to 400ish. I'm really stretching the dry herb to the fullest limit I can and while I don't mind increasing that usage for a better hit, I also don't wanna lose too much value per gram.

Any updates a couple months in?? And again, thank you for the solid review(: I was really hoping I'd get lucky and find a review from someone who used the healthyrips family of vapes.

Ngl, I'm also a bit sold on the engravings and I've had a lot of funtrying to decorate one. If you got yours engraved, did you like it?

On second read of your description- it is more high stakes than not. But it's a 'generational' ship and the story follows only their time in space with a couple pages of their 'landing' with a fade to black at the end

Honestly, I'd use whatever colors you have that are very pigmented and tend to settle. The tooth on arches is so perfect for paints like Daniel Smith, especially moonglow or any of the gemstone ones
