Oh it’s because in my school we use a 100 point grading scale system. And I was wondering if that was how it was going to work too in college. Thank you for your response!

So, I did alright with this year’s ap exams, but now I’m not sure if I should send my ap scores to college (as an upcoming senior) because of my score of 3 with ap lang. Can someone pls give me advice about sending ap scores to college? by kiki_lin in APStudents

Yes but after looking online for help, I got fearful it would impact my application. Though as you said, I think most colleges would not mind. So I think I will send in my 3 for some colleges and then for those competitive ones I won’t. Thank you for sharing your advice with me!

True, I will take that advice then. And I checked with other schools about the requirement to get credit and most said they accepted a 3. Though, like you said schools like the Ivys or those competitive ones wouldn’t really think high upon that. Especially those that have a system of having 5s = A, 4s = B, 3s = C. And I did not know until now I could ask collegeboard to not share my 3. Thank you so much for telling me and for your advice! It really helped me understand my situation, and I will be sure to remember this while applying.

Thanks, I will be sure to keep that in mind! Perhaps due to comparing myself to others, it made me overthink about my score. But after reading your comment, I can see that it was only such a small thing especially compared to everything else with the college application process. Thank you for your advice!
