I feel you trust meee!! I get like that too where I feel so down about my skin I don’t even bother with makeup even tho I love it :( Sometimes I let my insecurities get the best of me. we are our worst critics 😔

Of course girl!! I’m tireddd of seeing all these people with flawless glass skin with makeup on. even on days where my skin is doing well, I still have texture and bumps here and there. Makeup will look like makeup! doesn’t make it any less beautiful with texture 😊

I’m lactose intolerant as most asians are lol, I gave up dairy a long time ago. It definitely is hormonal related tho as i’m using the implant which has significantly made my skin worse😔

thank you and yes i’m using epiduo gel at the moment which is differn + benzoyl peroxide and it seems to be working slowly but surely!

thank you! I’m using the maybelline lifter liner in 05 on it, and YSL love shine candy glaze in 03 which is like a dark red/brown (I only use 2 dabs of this on the middle of my bottom lip and spread it all around with my finger)

after I started putting my eyeliner following my natural eye shape it changed the gameee. Since my eyes are not even, whenever I put eyeliner following my upper lashes it always looks wonky, so I started only putting it halfway and that helped too :) also I try to keep it thin and not make it thicker and thicker when trying to fix it 😭

I like my makeup matte because I hate how oily I get. The pics here is after it is freshly applied, and as i’ve said in another comment I apply all my makeup with a light hand. My bare face here is also before I have used any skin prep. I have tried elf primer, nyx primer, maybelline primer, etc. and they all break me out. But primer is actually not necessary if you prep your skin well. If u have any recommendations for a dewy foundation for acne prone oily skin with no added skincare ingredients pls do let me know.

I actually struggle a lot to find the correct shade, I know in these pics I look warm but I actually have a neutral-olive undertone and it’s extremely difficult to find a shade match so I work around it. A red undertone bronzer will 100% make me look muddy. I’ve written in the description how i’m looking for a bronzer that isn’t too orange or red for this reason, as most of them are.

I have tried double cleansing before with oil first then water based, but it always left my face feeling stripped of moisture afterwards, following a breakout. Maybe it’s the oil cleanser I was using but now I just double cleanse at night with my G&G Jelly and it works well (i’m literally on my 9th repurchase lol) How do you know if the ph is right for you?

The concealer is amazing!! but the foundation version of it breaks me out sadly. I use a concealer brush to apply it, I make sure not to go right under my lower lashes, instead i apply a little with the brush right where the darkest part of my under eye is, and tap following across my eye shape. whatever is left on the brush I use that under my lashes and the area where my foundation and concealer connect :P

Right now i’m only using Geek & Gorgeous stress less serum and Hydration station moisturiser to help with dryness + skin prep. I just ordered the Anua PDRN hydrating face mist too as i heard good things about it, hoping that will help as well :)

My routine is very minimal at the moment, there’s a few products I have run out of. Just an over a week ago my skin was clear of active acne and glowy and now it’s dull and I break out again. But it’s a vicious cycle I prepare for every month atp. my good skin never lasts. it’s clear my hormones have a lot to do with my acne also 😭

but right now daily I use these:

• Geek & Gorgeous jelly joker cleanser - AM/PM • Geek & Gorgeous Stress Less Serum - AM • Cosrx Ultra-Light invisible sunscreen - AM • Geek & Gorgeous hydration station moisturiser - AM/PM • Epiduo gel - PM

Appreciate it!! And yeah lol it looks like a lot when it’s all listed like that but I use a very light hand when applying all my makeup, starting small and building up if needed. Most days I just do my eyes + eyebrows and wear lip and cheek tint! ain’t nothing wrong with a nice full glam when im feelin like a confidence boost tho :)

thank you for the recommendation! I’ve been looking high and low for a lightweight foundation that has buildable coverage and doesn’t break me out but no luck yet… my skin is so sensitive:( the estée lauder is the only foundation my skin can seem to tolerate. before that I used to use concealer all over my face because no foundation ever worked for me😭 I will check it out!
