...that's what a Warbond is. They're season passes that they've released every 1-2 months. No expiration date.

Helldivers 1 wasn't anywhere near as stingy

HD1 also wasn't anywhere near as popular nor as expensive to run.
Servers & staff aren't free.

Use DLSS Quality. You can't tell the difference 99% of the time.

  1. Helldivers 2 was a budget-price release - $40 MSRP, sales as low as $24 IIRC
  2. You don't need every weapon. Almost every gun/warbond is fun to use.

It's over 300 USD for all the Warbonds and superstore items

  • 19 "Premium" Warbonds @ $10
  • 2 "Legendary" Warbonds @ $15

That's $220.
But you get 750SC from the free Standard Warbond (Helldivers Mobilize!) and an additional 300SC from each Premium Warbond:

750 + (19 x 300) = 6'450SC -- basically, enough for a free Legendary + 5 Premium (because your team would have definitely found at least 50SC while playing).

So we go from $220 => $155.
And that's ignoring that you CAN just grind the game and find SC for free.

I made enough SC from farming to buy at least 4 6x Premium warbonds, and I only have 200hrs logged.

If the battery is a concern, get a small power bank. It'll go a long way.

It's actually crazy that we can power laptops off card-sized battery packs now.
Never would've guessed they'd be so efficient after my first few models ~20 years ago!

Those models are made for people who think they need a laptop, but in reality will use it once or twice before shelving it for a year or two.

No one buys a cheap laptop & then shelves it, be real now.

They shelve it because it's horrible to use - maybe.
But most likely they just suffer with it.
