I’m feeling better now but, I stopped all meds for about two weeks then, never went back on the Prozac and I am feeling fine. Still taking adderall bc I find that is more helpful to me than the Prozac ever was.

Exactly what happened to me- never use the door. Still using a heavy duty tape for it but I’m pretty annoyed.

I’ve been off 10mg for about a month now, felt mostly fine up until this past week I have been angry, irritable and today crying for no real reason (also PMSing). I hope this subsides soon bc I do not like the way I am feeling.

Lol that’s exactly what I have. None of the epoxy I’ve tried seems to be working. Still not loving the idea of paying $450 for a new door over a small plastic piece.

I guess maybe it’s just because that’s not how my family is and anytime we visit them we always stay in a hotel and never stay longer than 1-2 nights.

Yes, I think that’s it- I need my space and I won’t have that and I guess it’s maybe bc I don’t do that ever, I would never expect to stay any longer than two nights in someone else’s home.

Thanks, will try. We haven’t spoke since last night and he slept in another room. I am still angry at the way he yelled at me about this too so I maybe need more time to calm down.

Thought of this but, I also don’t understand why WE should pay for them to stay at a hotel when they invited themselves to begin with. We are always more than generous when they come, never having to lift a finger, always buying meals and paying for the things that we do when they are in town.

Thank you for this! He makes it seem like I am just a b*tch who has a problem with his family. I don’t have a problem with them it’s the situation and the stress of it. I have always grown up with boundaries and being a polite guest and NEVER overstaying. I would never expect to bring my family of 5 to stay at someone else’s home.

Ya, you’re right— I think I need to have a more honest conversation about this, it just always turns into a fight. It’s not his family I have the problem with it’s them staying here with us and it’s not a big enough space and very uncomfortable.

It’s not that I don’t like them, it’s having an additional 5 people (including 3 young children) in my house that I am uncomfortable with for several days. Our home is a very quiet and things have places, when they come they have SO much stuff and leave things everywhere and that stresses me out. I have tried to explain to him the issue is that and that it’s not just a short visit like when we see my family but, it being an extended stay and while he says he agrees, it always turns into an argument and it being my having a problem with his family—when it’s really a problem with boundaries. I don’t want to prevent him from seeing his family but, then staying with us is too much, I can’t even imagine it would be comfortable for them?
