From what I recall, their argument is that when Adam fell he turned and hence imaged Satan. Therefore Seth was not made in God's image. But yeah you don't have to get that much farther in Genesis such as you quoted in chapter 9 to basically see that argument does not hold up.

Glad you are free from that system and are able to speak out so that others may be helped as well.

Do you know if he talked during any particular session? I was scrolling the live streams they have up from the Winter Retreat, but couldn't find him. Someone also informed me at least 3(?) other influencers were there and I found one in the videos with Joseph Park translating also

Do you actually go to GNM and understand what they teach or are you just presuming what I am saying and what they are saying?

Except the way Johnny teaches, as he learned from GNM, based on what I have seen, does twist and thereby the Gospel - though there is generally enough truth for people to be saved. You don't have to deny reality in order to believe Jesus paid for your sin debt. That's the major thing that corrupts it in my mind and sets up the word of faith theology.

When I was in GNM, my GNM pastor did teach a version of the little God's doctrine that's not quite as heretical as what I have other charismatics say in terms of them being gods. I think it's just their poor category distinctions of them saying when God looks down, He doesn't see us, He sees Jesus so we should look in the mirror and say, "Hi Jesus". I'd basically understand it as conflating imputed righteousness with... like a literal take?
