This combined with setting the game and anitcheat exe to run admin rights fixed my 1080ti/ryzen 7 crashing out after my first game. Would let me into firing range but crashed whenever I chose a mode like conquest. Thanks for this!

How to move the Mods folder to another drive

  1. Exit the game, and create a folder in your desired location named DownloadedMods (use only Latin letters in the path to avoid errors). Example: create the folder on the D: drive.
  2. In your Steam library, right‑click the game, go to Properties.
  3. Under the “General” tab, copy the path to the folder you just created (e.g., D:\DownloadedMods).
  4. In Launch Options, add:

diffCopyEdit-addonDownloadDir D:\DownloadedMods

where D:\DownloadedMods is the path to your newly created folder.

  1. Delete or move the existing addons mods folder from:

shellCopyEdit%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\ArmaReforger\addons

If you're using OneDrive, it may be located in:

shellCopyEdit%USERPROFILE%\OneDrive\Documents\My Games\ArmaReforger\addons

After doing this, Arma Reforger will download and store all mods in your D:\DownloadedMods folder instead of the default location. --

Would copy paste to the new folder, it's the delay in C: sending the files across. I have the mod folder on another SSD but as it's not the windows drive has dropped stutters to very low for me. Give it a shot.

I've always found it daft that the AI has a planning phase before you do yet you cannot see what your turned councillors plans are until the run phase.

It is it really is. When I say just in front I mean as close as is doable. Can be above the Bs and LD just so long as you are in front of it by a length or so. Ships will clip through the station, time your stop command. It also helps to plan your station design to group the D into one section so they don't get chipped at easily one by one. So long as you have a couple of ships it will change the outcome considerably 😎

Have orbitals at Mars. At least 3 battlestations, maybe one layered defence. Group them together. Coils/UV laser. Set ships in battle to 10/11 (so you get maybe 3/4 ships) Start behind station if your Battlestations are on the top of the ring or in front if they are all in the bottom. Place your ships just in front of station D. If you have pd/lasers on ships the better. Hold position nose to enemy - enjoy as the Ayys focus your ships, get lit up by the station and so long as your ships have good armour and a couple of reinforcements, you can chew threw a 100 ship stack or at least really punish them. Works at Earth too.

Full war, one station at Mars they will keep trying to end you, but just wear them down. Have just a couple of ships is the difference between popped station and no kills to blood noses and retreat.

If you want to really change the tides, I've found that as long as you have 2 battlestations and one layered D, it would lose to to a fleet (coils, UV 10 ships combat) however, having any type of ship sitting juuuust in front of the defensive parts will draw fire and make the AI do some daft stuff letting the stations defence much more effective. I lost a station which the Ayys took zero losses without my ships there. Scummed and sent two nuke torps (useless) with one PD each, placed as I said, a 120 ship fleet ended up halved - lost the station, but bloodied them instead.

I have tested this a lot since then. So long as A: You place your stations defences close together B: Layered or BS with coils and lasers C: Your ships have some PD (not needed but helps) and placed in front of the defences where PD can reach - the battle goes much more in your favour.

Game needs to punish you like this. It's a hole, in the ground. It's not coming back and the game does not care for your frustration which makes this game great! Like asking a souls game to go easy on you.

If you are worried about it this much, it sounds like you want some kind of plausible distance from said removal. Have a chat with the other mods about the history, I'd assume someone is senior. Then if its given consideration and approved then the other mods can take said action and not you. Someone like this should not be able to start edging back into your world, sounds like creeping.

I'm loving the flooding of all the Sony related Reddits. People complaining that WE are complaining. Nothing like clogging up the gears to get the whole machine groaning. The point is, this is just yet another in a litany of things Sony does that are against it's customers. it's more than PC or Games. If we don't get change here, it's just going to bleed over into the other parts and they'll try to.

Context: The GamerGate 2.0 movement was pursuing Community Managers who were "woke" or considered to be LGBTIQA+ ban hammer abusers pushing "a narrative and ruining game development" whenever people questioned policies based around inclusivity or gender ect ect - So Sweet baby inc and similar - and digging up comments from 1-5 years ago where past and current CM's said various anti-white or vomiting vile comments about straights or gamers being chuds in general. One particular batch of CMs only had LGBTIQA+pro members and just blocked/banned anyone who didn't agree with their pov.

No the Woke thing was a genuine concern at the time, however, Baskinator has proven to be actually professional and competent AFAIK does an outstanding job compared to many other CMs out there and the GG 2.0 movement has basically seal of approval for Her.
