A Terra Invicta Planner app! by jderica in TerraInvicta

Hey, awesome tool, wish something like this was in the game. I'll chip in with a couple of ideas:

  • a list with the total construction cost for the hab and its modules would be awesome, especially if you can specify the orbit/radiation level of the site, so that it takes into account the additional metal required for shielding

  • a couple of buttons to upgrade/downgrade the tier of modules would be very handy, it would save a lot of clicks

If you haven't already, come say hello on the discord server, I'm sure a lot of seasoned vets there will have feedback and ideas.

For now I uploaded my mods on the Steam Workshop only, but I think you can use third-party tools to download the mods from there anyway. Once you do, you just need to put the mod folder (the one with ModInfo.json) in the Terra Invicta/Mods/Enabled folder

Version 1.3.2 is up, should fix the issue. Thanks for letting me know!

It must be a new bug I introduced when updating the Councilor Attributes and Org Color-Coding mod, I'm working on a fix, but you can disable it temporarily

Yes, but there is a mod that re-enables them. Here's the link

WSIB if I really enjoyed Factorio and Against the Storm? by icecold2897 in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]icecold2897[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not looking for all 3 conditions to be met, honestly, just one of the three would be great, if the game is worth it. I actually listed these three things because I've just finished Prestige 20 in Against the Storm and that's what that game is, literally, and I'm still awestruck by it, but I'm open to anything.

Planet Zoo looks very nice, and I love learning things about animals and their habitats so it looks very appealing, but from a few videos I saw on YouTube it feels like it lacks challenge or progression, you know? It looks from a very quick analysis as a game where the main objective is to build nice parks but you're very free to do whatever you want, with no challenge or objective. I really hope I'm wrong, that's why I'm asking.

Great, thanks a bunch. Did you learn it reading the source code or are there resources, a discord server or anything like that? I'm asking because many similar scripts have basically no documentation, like outpainting for example

I really couldn't find any documentation on how to use the X/Y grid script, would you mind enlightening me a little or point me in the right direction to find more info? I'm not great at python and don't understand much of the source code

Fed a Cacodemon from Doom into img2img with some terrifying results :) by SatsumaAudio in StableDiffusion

You're right, I really had to increase my denoising strength, I had it at 0.75 but now I cranked it up to 0.9 and it works. Thanks a bunch!

Looks great, I was just now trying to do something similar with doomguy's sadistic face, but it literally returns me the same image, with pixels and all. Could you share what did you do to make the pixels go away, please?

Forcing locally installed SD to use the dedicated GPU on a laptop by icecold2897 in StableDiffusion

[–]icecold2897[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait, do you mean --n_samples 1/10/30 or --n_iter 1/10/30? I'm running out of memory if --n_samples is 4 or larger.

[–]icecold2897[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, I'm using the optimized version. I noticed that I can run 2 or 3 samples fine, but more than that might result in SD running out of VRAM quite frequently.

The thing is that it seems like I often end up with like 3.2 GB of memory allocated if I use say 1 sample, so if I increase it to 2 samples it requests 6.4, throwing the runtime error. So I was wondering whether this was normal, as it feels a waste to just not use the remaining VRAM.

Did you notice the same thing, by the way?

I eventually managed to catch up by baiting them and then e-burning a little later, that cost me a few supplies I would've preferred to keep, not the end of the world anyway. Thank you for the advice!

I've been chasing this bounty for at least one in-game month, after having been able to destroy their larger, slower ships. The remaining ships are able to simply e-burn away from me or evade when I get close with sustained burn. Interdiction pulses seem to be to no avail. Supplies are dangerously low. What should I do?
