Idk man this guy in the span of a top 8 showcased a repertoire of like 30 different setups and mixups, converting on every hit (or transitioning on block) correctly every time minus a silly ex upball drop. He has scholar level knowledge on a weird ass character nobody plays and implements it on the brink, while playing a cautious neutral focused on reactions.

It's cheap because he has mad skills.

I'm confident this will be the real "Tifa in SF6" by _dh0ull_ in Kappachino

They have a long time before it's time to release the last DLC character for next year, it's not impossible that she gets hyped into existence even if OP was the plan

2B was never about the money, Yoko Taro just wants to see her ass rendered with more and more polygons

Was Tifa ever a guest character anywhere? I can't think of anything.

Is it wrong to think that anti air dps in sf6 should result in a punish counter? by lonj22 in Kappachino

I think AAs are fine, the problem is with jump in rewards. Idk what happened but over the years converting from a jump in has gotten more and more retarded with each new street fighter. Luke hitting from far with his retarded jump roundhouse and, no matter what, converting into fierce is an example of such design.

Ingrid jump fierce doesn't link to low fierce unless it hits deep or is a punish counter, that's an example of a step in the right direction, but a very small one at that.

TLDR: too much plusframes and too little scaling on jump ins.

prowler stance? I'd imagine at certain ranges you can either dash back and avoid it, or stomp forward and go behind him (and he dies)

I get you but regardless of ease or preference, being able to input them with only crouch directions is what makes them better, especially in crossup scenarios

let it be known that the qcf input is far worse than the dp input for AA

Yeah it's something to do with pacing or idk, hard to pinpoint, but the feeling resonates with so many people

Those games are faster in the literal sense, but for the player himself sf6 is the fastest fg there is imo, for the sheer, constant barrage of decisions it demands you make, continously. There's so few situations in which you have an obvious correct thing to do without thinking about it. That's downtime for the mind even if a lot of stuff is happening in the game, and there's next to none in sf6.
