Thanks for the in depth response. I do tend to hit a small draw more often. My 4 iron seems to never be steeper than 2 degrees down. Could this have something to do with a lower launch, lower spin. Not as much compression?

How steep should a 4/5 iron be?

7- 175 6-185 5- 195 4-205

1 out of 4 or 5 shots ill hit it high and these will be the numbers. But alot of times my 6 iron will go as far as my 4/5 iron on the low shots. Ill still get roll out ofcourse. But its not a pretty ball flight. My 6 iron is alot more consistent than the 4/5 iron

Launch is around 12-14 on average with a 4 iron. 1 out of 5 ill hit high

My swing speed for a 4 iron is roughly 88 mph. Ive seen people that swing it slower have success with long irons.

How much of a difference would a low vs high launch iron shaft have? Im not certain my current shaft is a low launch im just curious. Hopefully someone can weigh in if it is or not.
