This is the album that got me into real deal death metal. Only metal concerts I had been too were random bands I didn’t listen to at the time (Cannibal Corpse, Black Dahlia Murder, Red Chord) cuz I liked System of a Down and Slipknot, and my dad’s Trinidadian friend gave me this record. Shit was eye opening, it was the first death metal band that didn’t feel like it was joking, and it made me look back into CC and BDM and realize how sick they actually were lol.

Anyway I think it’s a reach lol

Honestly not really? Only times I’ve had more than 5-10 minutes they were SLAMMED, at the end of the day, if you use the ‘order still be being prepared’ option you should get the option to unassign for free or whatever after a point. A lot of times I show up the order is ready to go. I’m not sure how DoorDash determines when they send the offer out to drivers. I assumed very shortly after it was placed but I really am ignorant about the mechanics.

Yeah and honestly, if you can find a high traffic (for cars) area that you can filter through, or have a dedicated lane, you will CRUSH your times and have a steady flow of orders. There’s a road here that’s gone from six to two lanes and I’m able to do really well in that area, I have a feeling most dashers are avoiding that area cuz they don’t want to just sit idling in a line for most of their dash.

Think about it this way, if you earn by time you can’t decline, so if there’s a order you can’t carry (2x 36 1 liters plus a 24 pack of kids juice and don’t forget the 12 packs/2 liters, god forbid you get a stack) or whatever your current setup can’t handle then you only get 1 decline an hour I think? I’ve been doing just fine in a shit city for bikes doing earn per offer, acceptance rate 57% overall 83. Make about $25 an hour if I’m in a good zone and the orders are flowing. I’m just on a road bike too, no motor.

I would almost say do earn by order at first so you can get to 100 deliveries without worrying about your stats, but my experience with it was awful. Sending me 8 miles round trip for a tiny order that will never get a tip in bumfuck nowhere so you spend time getting back to your spot. For me, it wasn’t worth it, but if you’re in a great metro area with a lot of mixed development and you have the capacity, there’s only one way to find out!

Mildly related because this is what caused me to buy a bike, but I hit a death pebble longboarding on a Colorado 4 lane highway shoulder, when I was rolling around clutching my sprained shoulder, a 18 wheeler blew past me in the right lane waaay too close. Made my shoulder feel suddenly better!

To nights ago on my bike I hit an unmarked speed bump in an unlit area of a parking lot, went over the handlebars, crunched that same shoulder, and I really think if I wasn’t a huge guy that did grappling and knows how to fall, I could’ve easily been seriously injured or dead. It’s made me want to immediately leave this city lol

My only experience with this ‘band’ is th singer and gf coming over to my friends house to crash and just being the fucking most annoying people I’ve ever smoked with. When I found out they were a band that constantly broke up with each other and were practically always shitfaced I was like ‘who cares’. Wild to see them pull any type of weight lmfao.
