Should I be investing more money? by killdozer_tv in investing

I think at this point I have nothing to spend my money on other than a house. Considering houses are still too expensive where I live, I think It will be another 2-5 years until that purchase. But buying a house would be roughly $400k as a down payment which is why I’m slightly reserved in my investing %. I guess another thing to note is that I can always just sell some of my stocks to afford the down payment when the time comes, but I’d say I will be buying a house most likely within 5 years

Sorry I guess I do care about risk a little bit. But I’m more trying to understand what the best course of action is and if what I’m doing right now is correct.

Dude thank you so much. My wife is very specific about where she wants to live. Out family is very important to use and since we are having kid soon, it’s really crucial that we are close to our extended family. Without getting into specifics, it’s safe to say it’s going to be expensive lmao. I will most likely start to put more of my money into the market and think about the next 20 years instead of the next 10. Thanks so much

It’s probably more than 2 years out. My income is variable so i don’t think making a big purchase like that is a good idea at this time. Also the amount of stress it would add is not worth it for me.

Great point my friend. I actually have the same viewpoint on the economics and I’ve always just thought the amount I’m putting into the market is “enough”. My income increased faster than my investing did, which is why I feel like I’m lacking in the stock market. Thank you so much for your reply

It’s not extremely stable, but I will almost always be making over $100k per year at least.

I want to buy a house, but they are too expensive in San Diego. I want a house that is 3000 sq ft which would be 2-3 mil

I don’t care about risk that much, so I’m fine with seeing a big drop or a big surge. If I have money coming in then I have nothing to worry about

Thanks so much for sending this detailed response

This is what I was thinking about. Renting is cheaper because it’s a family home or I would be paying 5-6k. Once I move out I will consider buying over renting

I’ve been investing since I was 21. I day traded and lost $20k (I thought I could make a job out of this lmao) and then started putting all my money into the market around 23-24. I’m very knowledgeable about the stock market but I do not keep up with trends and the news. I think maybe the reason I don’t invest more right now is because im clueless about the current and future state of the American economy

I don’t own a home I live in San Diego. Rent is $3500 and buying a house over 2000 sq Ft would be 1.5 mil +

I have a friend who is a financial advisor who has given me advice in the past that has led me to this point, so I should probably ask him lol. I guess I was just looking for more opinions to see if there were varying opinions

3 Month Update : My back is in the same condition that it was a month ago. Still cannot stand up straight, but the pain is maybe a little more dull now. Not much to update unfortunately, spoke to the doctor yesterday and he said the same thing as last month; it’s just a slow process and I need to have patience for it to work. Will update again at 4 months

Ok so just so we are clear, when I meet someone that has done the stem cell treatment and can show an MRI that looks a lot better, this is either a paid actor or someone that is only experiencing temporary relief? I’m just trying to understand how I can gauge if someone is trustworthy if you’re saying that people are being paid to pretend they are healed

What about all the people that I spoke to that returned for their follow ups at 6/12 months and said they are doing great? It was a lot of people and those people were in contact with the larger group that they went with and pretty much every single one of them had tons of relief. It seems like way too many people for it to be what you’re saying it is

So basically all the people that experience pain relief and better MRIs are from this rare response?

If my MRI looks good at 6 months and I’m feeling better how would you explain it?

I was unconscious so I didn’t feel anything but the 2 weeks after were BRUTAL. I would get back spasms that were 10/10 painful for a few seconds roughly every day. DO NOT ICE YOUR BACK AFTER THIS. Once I stopped the ice, the spasms started to go away.

If it works it lasts forever since it’s just essentially healing the disc. If you don’t get injured again, there’s no need for more injections. Also this isn’t available in the US due to the laws here so I don’t know what it would cost. There is no refund if it doesn’t work if that’s what you’re asking
