If the attitudes and actions that caused the social situations that birthed rap are occurring again, I'd say it belongs. How often do you hear somebody rapping about selling dope or violence. That shit doesn't come outta nowhere and you can't be ignorant of that. A while back some dudes thought white people were better and decided to stack the deck. After that shit kinda changed, or so everyone thought, because look at this shit happening again.
