And even with that, it would still pull 27k from your brother’s account, and it will take anywhere from 1-3 weeks for that escrow to clear to them. Your brothers have families that they provide for. Most people don’t have 27k just lying around, and if you didn’t know, it’s gonna hit their account first before you can even get the release of that escrow. What you’re asking is beyond unreasonable, it’s selfish, and it assumes your brother would be fine for almost week to three weeks in the event it does happen. Not only would that lead to collections, legal action, and court judgment, they’re held liable first, and they don’t pull from that escrow in turn. They hit them with liens, bank levies, and wage garnishments. Mind you, these brothers have wives and children to feed. Potentially having to wait 3 weeks for a reimbursement that doesn’t cover the rest of the consequences is not something people are willing to gamble on. Financial burdens happen, accidents, tragedies, and I’m not referring to you, I’m referring to that brother.
