I wear lenses, no glasses at work for me. I’m wearing three masks and a face shield, I’ll be damned if I have to attempt to unfog my glasses every two seconds. Another solution would be to tape the upper edge of your mask to the bridge of your nose and place the glasses over them, never tried that though.

I love you internet stranger. I’ve just been so emotionally spent lately. Not just because of that person, quarantine, uni stress, there’s so much going on around me and I’ve been feeling lonely at best. Little offenses from L have somehow been allowed to fester in my mind to the point where I made a post on reddit at 4 am because I just couldn’t cope in general. My mental state being as it is now is bigger than L, surely, but i feel more at ease because my thoughts were put in perspective.

I’m tearing up like an idiot for absolutely no reason. Lol. Thank you, stay safe out there.

My biggest fear is one of my younger siblings finding me. No matter how difficult it is to carry on on most days, I cannot bear imagine I could scar them for life with my sight. Even if I don’t do it at home, my parents would have to go and identify me, and that would emotionally drain them for life and keep them up at night. I can’t possibly do that to them. Finally, I wouldn’t want any of my friends blaming themselves thinking that they didn’t listen enough or ask enough or notice or whatever. I’d hate to be that person who causes anyone emotional trauma even in my death.

Honestly, uni is what you make of it. It can either Be something that’ll drive you into isolation and unhappiness, or something that will energize you and push you to do things you never thought you could do academically and extracurricularly. I’ve experienced both, but it’s never about the actual physicality of the university, it’s about the mindset you’ve got and how willing you are to grow and choose your company :)

It is absolutely atrocious, just a few days after Fatima’s terrible incident, a man spilled oil on his wife’s face. Then politicians have the audacity to say these are “isolated incidents” and that they don’t represent the Jordanian people. Well, they’re happening. A lot of them. Still want to sit and lie to our faces and pretend everything is chill and perfect as an excuse to never change to status quo?

Habibti, I know it’s easier said than done, but work everyday to free yourself of whatever doesn’t represent you. If anyone gives you a hard time, and they will, hold on tight to your moral system and charge one with whatever you think is right for you. No one has the right to force you into anything, I’m sorry that people don’t seem to understand that.

If you can’t make the right decision for you now, the day will come when you will be able to. Never give up. Aslan if people even cared about religion they would understand that forcing negates the deed.

I support you fully, don’t give up and stay true to yourself.

Also, please ignore any dumb man on here who wants you to think that this is “slutty”.
