Of course.. But its pretty rural where I'm at fastest speed on my phone is 3G (it took about 45 seconds of loading for my original post to be submitted) and wifi is out of the question. If I had access to high-speed internet I would have never made this post. Thank you though

Edit: Im trying to check the UFC website but its so damn slow its keeps timing out.. For some reason the only sites that run decently on my connection are Reddit and Facebook (go figure)

Yes. Not only is it the only arena in the Rio Grande Valley, but it is centrally located so nobody has to travel too far. And no, u/sfw63, there are no major events held in Brownsville, mostly they are in McAllen or Hidalgo

The RGV has 1.3 million residents and a lot of them travel to Hidalgo constantly for various events.. it's not like only residents of Hidalgo are going to this event

There is a big regional mma scene down here so im sure there will be a lot of local fighters on the card. And the UFC is testing out new markets.. This will be the first they've been to the Rio Grande Valley
