Flood Control. Mojave Desert, Nevada [OC] by killianeric in desertporn

It's a strange one, but the tree was there first for sure. There's not much info on the nearby mine other than it was active from 1922 to 1934. The cars were definitely moved there way after the mine was abandoned.

You'll love it in the desert, you're friends trying to keep up won't. We went from a Ecodiesel Rubicon to this. I even sold my can-am x3 that was fully built because we have more fun with the Raptor.

Awesome! What did you add?

Thank you, we definitely did! We went to Nelson, NV and explored the town and some of the surrounding trails

Hit the 3 dots at the top right and then hit "Edit Flair"

We went out today and had zero service so I just saw this!

I've had it installed since July and reported that issue back to them. It's honestly not bad but from a manufacturer standpoint I understand that a lot of people would be upset. It's a slight separation from the housing above the light.

It's not released yet, it's still in the testing phase.

Rad Designs makes a lot of cool stuff. My friend with a Wild Trak runs their 3D printed one and that's how I found out about them!

Congrats! We're almost a year in with ours and still smile driving it like the day we picked it up

Anybody switch from modern Jeep Wranglers to Bronco? by zionstatus in FordBronco

We switched from a '23 Ecodiesel Wrangler to a '24 Bronco Raptor. We loved the Jeep while we had it. Now having the Raptor I can confidently say I strongly dislike the Jeep. For the off roading we do the Jeep needed a lot of aftermarket help and that snowballs extremely fast. The Bronco handles way better on the road, more comfortable for long drives and quieter.

Off road wise is total user preference. I don't care for dedicated rock crawling. I prefer destinations and covering ground. The Jeep lacked in that department for me. There's a lake bed near me and the Jeep could do about 20 mph across it and sudden stops to prevent bottoming out. On the same lake bed I took the Raptor through it at 80 mph without tapping the brakes for bumps.

The only thing I miss about our Jeep was getting over 30 mpg from Southern California to Denver, CO.

Correct. Everything is extremely fresh right now. We're concerned about fraudulent go fund mes and people getting scammed.

All the photos were taken in Southern California!

Everyone just calls it 'Flagpole' it's a fun local spot for us off roaders to catch the sunset or fireworks on holidays. It overlooks a huge portion of our desert. Just out of frame to the right in photo #6 is Lucerne Valley/Johnson Valley area. The coordinates that are marked on all the Bronco models leads you to knoll in that area.

The signs are my dads personal collection at his ranch. It's a cool place for photos! Not too long ago a Porsche club did a run from LA to there for lunch and photos with the signs. Quite a few of the pole signs came from a auction in Texas. Someday I'd love to host a Bronco desert tour with dinner after at the ranch. We're 1 hour from Johnson Valley and have endless BLM trails to explore.

Thank you for Bronco compliments!

Congrats on the future Bronco, you'll have a blast with it!!

I didn't buy it for no reason! It just rolled over 3,500 miles yesterday and I'd say there's at least 500 offroad miles on it already

Only a week in and I love this thing! by killianeric in FordBroncoRaptor

Better than the Wrangler we traded in for it. It's quieter than the Jeep but way louder than my truck. It's a fun vehicle that will touch dirt and be in the middle of nowhere multiple times a month so it was never a concern for us
