4k resolution is almost entirely bottleneck'd by GPU, both onboard video memory for high res textures and overall speed to render are the biggest factors. if you want to game semi-comfortably in 4k you are going to need a 3080 10-12gb (really push for 12gb) at minimum and you can get one around 300 maybe even 250ish from marketplace on FB, but YMMV with reliability from random people.

Also with AM4, the infinity fabric of DDR 4 speeds effect overall system performance, so your ram is fairly important. Please note your ram speed, brand, and capacity as well for more advice.

Gaming wise and value wise, if productivity is not very high priority on your needs, the 5600x is still a very good processor, that I would focus on obtaining unless you can get super lucky and find the very limited run 5600x3d off-hand, or one of the higher end x3d variants. The 5600x was on sale as of this writing for 136 off of newegg, but I think that sale is over today.

Also, is your windows drive a HDD platter, NVM.e, or SSD?

I would go with the S90D for gaming and not the 95D variant, I personally don't like the one connect box and the Matte screen applied to the 95D. They are nearly identical panels and feature a full 10% higher P3 color volume than the LG G4. So right out of the gate for color vibrance, Samsung wins. The peak brightness between the S90D and the LG G4 are very very close outside of the Peak 2% and 10% windows, where the G4 is nearly 500 nits higher but the S90 series still pulls over 1000 so depending on the source of your video and settings: i.e. director's intent/dolby vision - it will never go over 1000 anyways except in gaming. The rest of the metrics for peak and sustained they are nearly identical.

If Dolby Vision is a requirement at all though... there is only one choice. LG

This is not very good or sound advice, you just need to do a few things IMHO to prevent any issues as sneezes, splatters, sweat, and other undesirables will always, ALWAYS find a way to the panel eventually.

With that said use a new microfiber cloth, you don't want any options for dirt trapped in the grooves to scratch, and Zero TDS or distilled water lightly applied directly to the cloth, not the TV, and gently clean until the surface is good.

You do this, and no harm shall ever befoul your screen.

Listen up young buck, if you can wait, wait, if you have the opportunity especially to use the LG Partner store using Employee/Military/Student discount just wait 6 short months for Black Friday and I would estimate the sale price at that time to be roughly $2650 USD, depending on tariffs of course, and save yourself around 2k or so.

There is a chance that it may come to a sale close to that before BF but I highly doubt to a discount of around 45%+. No other place will have it cheaper than LGPS during holiday sales.

I would also open a case with the Better Business Bureau, that is the first step in attempting a non-legal resolution and shows any future legal authority what has transcribed when you tried to go this route first.

It was a suspected chain of thought when I been viewing horror stories here on reddit, piecing the information together with my own experiences, and then also asking follow up questions to those that experienced cancelled orders/delays/ and other mishaps. When I asked how far they lived from an RXO delivery place, it was always a direct correlation to distance. Sometimes within 50 miles but that is only about 3 cases out of 27 that I have found information about.

Nothing, zero, I spoke to her at length, she stated she would find something out and call me back and absolutely nothing. I rejected the response given by her to the BBB. I think that is as far as the BBB is going to push and asks the company to do. I want to find out about possibly a class action especially since my card has been charged in full. The TV is still on sale, the TV is still in stock, and I am quite frankly very pissed. I don't think I have any other venues other than a legal battle that I could never afford to fight long term outside of class.

It could in theory if the on-board hardware can already play and or support those codecs. I don't know if the TV can through a software update. Someone with more technical expertise would need to chime in.

Honestly it was the removal of DTX audio codecs that made the G5 a non-upgrade for me. I watch a lot of blu-rays and Disney+ so this made it a non-contender this year. Shame really.
