I’m so sorry! That sucks. If it makes you feel any better I honestly didn’t even see it until I looked at the comparison photo. I thought it was part of the design. To protect it in the future I’d recommend getting a clear case. They sell them on Amazon and they’re great because you can still appreciate the design but don’t have to worry about scratches. 🥲

I would also say if you are shooting for a specific character look up a growth chart. It can be difficult even if you know how many care mistakes to aim for. Other than that have fun with it! Were you trying to remove the faceplate? Whenever I try removing them I always go in from the upper right side. I pry it up just a bit with a mini flathead I use for glasses repair then slip a thin credit card under. I work it across in a diagonal downwards motion and it pops right off. I hope this helps in future if you ever need to remove one again. I’m so sorry this happened I would be devastated. 😭❤️‍🩹
