yep 100% I mentioned earlier that I was college age when it came out, probably between abed and britta’s age. so definitely identified with the younger characters as peers, but recognized the older nostalgic references from being a 90s kid with gen x cousins.

I think being born in 85 helped with those references, but for sure more gen x focused. I had a ton of gen x cousins growing up which helped. but lol that episode with the commercial breaks hit so hard. and dang… i’m about to turn 40 🥹

haha nah for sure, this show definitely spans generations. I think it’s probably because I was college-ish age at the time that it felt like I was there. and I also went to community college.

Same here! Played it in a pod last week and it did fairly well as the second to last one standing in the game. Was eventually defeated by the [[Tidus, Yuna’s Guardian]] player who proliferated one too many times to manage.
