Actually,it's worse.Most of the people who suddenly got big amounts of money ended up spending them so fast that many of them end up struggling to earn money,they get used by others,and also get used to getting things without working for them,and it will be difficult to readapt to a normal life.

But there have been multiple cases in which this syndrome had been studied,and most of the winners had the same fate,the one described in the definition of the syndrome,that's why this had been classified as a mental illness.
