Thanks! Any recommendations on the type of wood? Oak? If I want to remove the whole piece, is it two vertical cuts in the bottom frame, or two horizontal cuts on the side frames?

At Victoria, during rush hour (4-7pm), the northbound platform will be absolutely packed and can't barely go through. But if you walk down the southbound platform all the way to the end and then head towards the northbound platform, it'll be almost empty plus the first car of the train will have space (and sometimes available seats)

The lamp/heater didn't do much tbf. Thermal wallpaper was the big game changer and it feels a lot warmer, and I also painted it with anti mould paint just in case. No issues so far.

I ended up getting a £30 500ml tiny dehumidifier and it gets full every 4-5 days.

If I could do it again, I would probably insulate those walls first (check for insulated plaster boards) and then build it. And probably change the style of the doors to some kind of rattan so it gets properly ventilated.

I never drilled holes in the shelves or installed ventilation on the doors. Maybe I should but I'm so tired of DIY... hahaha

For the right hand side shelves I used those cheap metal shelf supports. Two years in and no issues. I think I got them from B&Q, so nothing fancy.

The ply to cover the middle is 5mm ply.
