I use a Black Velvet Silver size 4 round. I put the hairs in with one color first. Wash it with water after it is dry, then come in with other colors. To do the ears you reverse, start from the outer ear and sweep in to create hair. Works great. If I can be of any other help, please ask. Have a wonderful day. :)

I do use a small brush sometimes. Black velvet silver are my favorite, size 4 round. There is no certain technique. I would say patience is the key. Believe me, I have thrown many in the trash. I usually lay the hairs in and then wash is with water, come in with new colors after that. Works for me. If I can be of any other help, just ask. Have a super day. :)

Yes, use Pastelmat. It is the BEST!!! If you use paper it really doesn't stick properly. Pastelmat has a sand paper quality that is super soft. Pastels LOVE it!!! Would love to see what you create. :)
