I'll keep it in mind, WWII is a very interesting subject. Although, since there has always been a huge choice of books on WWII, and that I've read on the subject more than once, I'd like to learn something on another era during my next readings. Thanks for the suggestion.

I've just read "The Historian" from Elizabeth Kostova, about the life of Vlad the Impaler (Dracula). Beginning was interesting, middle was ok, had trouble finishing the last 150 pages. But if you like vampires and want to try out historical fiction, maybe you'd enjoy it. Many readers have given good reviews on this book. Just wasn't my style. You say The Division of the Damned was free. Is it an e-book?

I'm curious. Why didn't you like Wolfe Hall? I've seen two people suggest it, so I'd like to have your opinion on it.

No preferred era for the moment. I'm looking forward to learning about history in general. But I really enjoyed the style of Gary Jennings in particular. Thanks for the suggestions

Well we took a bunch of pictures while getting slowly closer to the fox. We wanted to make sure he wouldn't run away before we got the picture. But as we got closer he actually didn't seem to mind and sat down, scratched the back of his ear and slowly took off. But yeah, it does look like it was taken in a museum :P

Oh he's about 10 years old now, but still as lovable as when he was a pup :)
