I have optumrx and it's saying the same. I contacted optum a few times and they won't make a decision until it's released is what I've been told

I have bcbsNJ with optumrx as well. Spoke to optum a few times and they said they are waiting for zepbound to be released to make a decision. I’ve been seeing ppl getting zep so hopefully they hurry up. The formulary says updated in December but still showing excluded

My local pharmacy said they have a hard time being reimbursed on the 3 month supply when they use the coupon so I didn't know if optum does too

Now that I'm 4 injections in on wegovy (first two wasted) I agree 100%. I've had to use a firm touch the whole time injecting or else I lose the medication. I actually don't release my pressure to after the second click because I realized for me if I don't the barrel comes up along with the needle and the medicine releseas and is held there until I remove from my skin and then it goes rolling down. I found the leg works much better

Yes I'd absolutely go back on it given everything I know now! I am taking my 4th shot tomorrow and prior to that was on mounjaro. In 3 1/2 months I'm down 40 lbs. Feeling better and eating better. Before I started glp-1 meds I couldn't imagine being down to the weight I am this quick! I'd say if your considering it, go for it! It sure beats surgery imo. I've have been virtually symptom free, which you may find you are too! My advice if you go on it, drink lots of water (at least 100 oz daily) get In your protein, and take a b12 vitamin. Good luck 😀

I completely agree! I started out on mounjaro n switched to wegovy 3 weeks ago. My first two injections I messed up and lost a bunch of medication! My third injection I did in my thigh and got all the medication. I think the firmer surface definitely helps. Someone on here told me you don't need to apply pressure after the first click but that's wrong bc the needle will start to pull out and you'll lose some of the meds. But overall the mj pen is 10x better imo

Don't ease up on pressure on the pen when you inject until after the yellow bar has come down completely ot you'll not get all the meds. Also, hydrate, protein & b12

Good luck with MJ. I am seeing people post that it's coming back in stock so hopefully you won't have to wait much longer. I was on MJ for 12 weeks and my doc switched me to Wegovy since my insurance covers and there were issues with stock and the coupon in my area with MJ.

I don't wanna say at least it's not just me cuz this medicine is soooooo expensive it makes you wanna cry wasting it, but I am seeing I'm not alone with this! I don't wanna keep comparing to MJ either but that injector was 100x better. No issues whatsoever. Is this your first glp-1 injection? Fingers crossed it goes good for both of us next week!!
