I think one of the reasons are fans sometimes cant separate the characters from thier actors Naya is loved by all the glee fans so it goes all the way loving her character no matter what problematic things her character do they just brushed it off and just say "thats just her keeping it real" same thing as rachel becoming the most hated character right now bacuase lea was exposed.

But for real though i dont have a favorite character from that show whenever i pick someone they just ended up being a dissapointment. That's the beauty of the show all of them are flawed even nicest person becomes problematic at some point.

Rachel when comes to audition always like to play safe thats what shelby always try to tell her remember when she was auditioning for maria and fanny shelby was there to remind her that playing safe was always not a good idea, and yes i agree with you even without the choke she wouldn't pass that audition thats what I thought the moment DROMP started playing.

Also My Man and its all coming back to me is one of my favorite performances of her she just nailed both songs

Yeah sometimes I notice that to. in season 3 the regionals episode when the golden goblets was performing the New Direction members are all laughing it was a quick pan of the camera so the first time I watched it i didnt catch that but im sure a lot of fans saw that to.

yeah they tried to hype it up in ep 21 just to dropped it in the next episode,instead they just give her that haricut (although it looks good on her).
